Thornberry Creek #1 Landscape Design Photo Gallery
Project details
Project description
Settled along the 18th hole of one of the nicest public golf courses in Brown County, this project was a complete installation. An outdoor entertaining area was installed on this project that included patio pavers, retaining walls, custom built railing, grill area, sitting walls and a built in natural gas fire pit. Low voltage lighting has also been installed in the sitting walls. The lawn was drill seeded and hydromulched and decorative landscape stone and mulch was used in the planting beds. Aluminum edging was used to edge the planting beds. Black Hills Spruce, Multi Stemmed Prairie Fire Flowering Crabapples, Thornless Washington Hawthorn, Northern Lights Azaleas and Moon Glow Junipers are some of the plants that were used. Noted Materials: Holland Stone Pavers, Rustic Tribute Block & Cap, Fond Du Lac Outcroppings and Flagstone.
“When embarking on any improvement project, I’ve always believed that the skill of the craftsmen who manage and perform the work is even more important than the quality of the construction materials. Fortunately, in this case, both the craftsmen and the materials were outstanding. From the beginning, the folks from The Sharper Edge were a pleasure to do business with. Their communication with us regarding design ideas was exceptional, as was their willingness to offer and accept feedback. Perhaps the best compliment anyone can provide comes by answering a simple question: if I had it to do again, would I choose the same provider? I’m delighted to affirm that I would—without hesitation!”
